Area felt very unsafe as a solo female traveller. Groups of men outside the entrance trying to pressure people into their hostels/guesthouses. The entrance area felt extremely unsafe at night especially. Very dirty and would not recommend. Reception was friendly and helpful.

Not worth staying, very bad hotel. They have common toilet only and it stinks. You can't even flush. It's good for Indian only to stay. Wifi is a useless ****. Very cheap. I will not recommend and I won't even try again. This is garbage.

Place was of value of what i paid for, it is clean. But I wish got a place far from the entrance because the noise disturbed me. I checked out early. Wifi prob like half a day.

This place is really convenient in terms of location. The staff is nice and available if there’s any problem (ex locking yourself out). Overall the place is small but as you would expect from HK.

Sleeping room is nice and clean with sufficient a/c, only problem is the share toilet & shower area, no a/c there, run-down ceiling.

For budget friendly place to stay this is good. If you are a traveller who is not stagey, if you are a traveler that is very open to all cultures and people in all walks of life this will never be an issue for you. The place is clean and what I love about most about New York Guest House is their free drinking water with cups.

The location was perfect, there are a lot of MTRs convenient to anywhere you want to go, near bus station from airport or going to the airport . The room was okey for its price. The only thing I was not satisfied is the air-conditioning noice, and the smell at the lobby and the elevator. But the overall stay was good since we stay there just to rest a little and then go out for whole day and visiting tourist spot in HongKong.
